Over the past few days fans, vacationers and residents of Fire Island have seen just how devastating a storm can be. As a 3rd generation Fire Islander I can honestly say most of us knew the potential for such a serious storm. However, after seeing the pictures and videos that have emerged over the past few days of the destruction on Fire Island the pain and shock has really set in.
