Accommodations Guide
Accommodations fill quickly on Fire Island and only a few towns offer hotels or b&b's, so try and make your reservations before February of that year.
One of the best things about Fire Island is its refuge from hotel life itself. There are few planned activities, room service is unheard of, and bellboy's don't have jobs here. You can go almost anywhere without shoes and dressing for dinner means a comfortable shirt and nice shorts. Of course if you want to go formal you can wear pants.
